Hello, friends and loyal customers!

It’s no secret that the last few months have been challenging here at The Getaway Cafe & Royal Pizza. Between the ongoing construction in our strip mall, limited access due to the Dakota entrance being closed, and, most recently, a break-in after Thanksgiving weekend, we’ve been navigating a lot behind the scenes. With the area still under renovation and lighting limited, a trespasser managed to smash our windows, adding a layer of stress we could have done without. Thankfully, with our video surveillance and quick action from the Winnipeg Police Department, he was apprehended.

Despite these bumps, we’re here, working hard to bring you the same welcoming experience you’ve always enjoyed. Your patience and support mean the world to us. And as we head into our 50th anniversary, we’re more motivated than ever to keep serving you with the quality and care that’s been at our heart since 1975.
